guitar. Slack-key is a distinctly Hawaiian style of playing – the term coming from the technique of “slacking” or
lowering the string pitch to achieve a major chord. Slack-key was the direct forerunner of steel guitar. The great
slack-key artists can be identified by their unique individual styles – and Sonny Chillingworth is one of them!
